Job Responsibilities:


  1. Evaluate the nutritional status of patients, including OB, diabetic, weight control, and hypertensive patients.

  2. Provide individual counseling to clinic patients.

  3. Participate in developing patient care plans and provide appropriate follow-up.

  4. Document counseling sessions and patient progress.

  5. Assist with and participate in the preparation and delivery of nutrition education materials and activities.

Qualifications:



  1. Registered Dietitian with bachelor?s degree in Dietetics.

  2. One to two years' experience, preferable in maternal and child nutrition.

  3. Ability to communicate effectively with groups.

  4. Ability to relate well to people from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds.

  5. Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
